Snail Walk

One early summer morning I was walking in the woods when I happened to see a beautiful scene of a snail slowly crawling on the yellow moss. The image was so serene and full of life that I decided to freeze the moment, and so the following painting was born.

The snail's shell shimmers with a shimmering light that contrasts with the bright yellow color of the moss. The moss was the equivalent of a soft carpet for this snail, and the snail enjoyed the environment immensely. The snail moves slowly, but each step is determined and unhurried.

This is an extremely common snail in our daily lives, and most people would probably think of it as naive and extremely slow-moving. .....

But snails have different symbolic meanings in different cultures. In Chinese culture, the snail symbolizes slowness and backwardness, while in Western Europe it symbolizes tenacity and perseverance. The Scots believe that if a snail's tentacles are extended, it means the next day will be a good one.
